Den rustne eike
Einar is back where he started, with a bicycle repair shop in the basement. The original repair shop opened in 1982 and stayed open until 2007 when their tenancy expired. So it was back to the basement.
If you’re in Oslo and you’re into bikes, you’ll come across Einar sooner rather than later. He’s the guy everyone turns to when they miss a tool for their refurbishment project, or when they want to know the history of an old Norwegian bike manufacturer.
As he says on his website: “I have original parts for (almost) all Norwegian manufactured bikes from 1880-1980.” That’s pretty impressive!
